Attention Educators and Parents!
Children's Author Rosemary Wells will be discussing her new Children's Book Kit & Kaboodle and discussing important topics such as:
· Booking up our kids: Reading as a learning process, bringing in some of her works to illustrate reading, playing, and healthy development
· The most important 20 minutes of the day: How parents can nurture growth of their child's mind and spirit through reading in a quiet, restful place during their first years of life
· Fostering creativity: How parents of children interested in the arts can encourage productive habits that can be carried on as they learn and grow
About the Book
In the spirit of Max and Ruby, Rosemary Wells launches a new preschool picture book series starring brother-and-sister twin cat duo Kit and Kaboodle, and the mischievous mouse Spinka!
Kit and Kaboodle are twin Siamese cats. The brother and sister are very good kittens―they are always well behaved―but they are always getting into trouble. It's not the kittens who are making mischief. It's a red-capped mouse named Spinka!
There are three short stories in this picture book: "Sock Mischief", "Baseball Mischief", and "Bath Time Mischief".
About the Author
Rosemary, whose role as an author/illustrator spans more than 30 years and 120+ books, has also dedicated her career to researching the interplay between child development and literacy.
