Mesh Ed Collective is a start-up education design collective, and we're recruiting summer interns to help us with curriculum writing and apprentice teaching summer courses! Come meet us and learn about what we want to accomplish.

What we do: design and launch enrichment programs to build a more inclusive future; partner with schools, cultural institutions, and nonprofits to create after school, summer, and online courses that immerse diverse groups of students in creative collaboration and problem solving. This July we launch our flagship education incubator—Brooklyn Creative Learning Labs— in Dumbo, Brooklyn, in which we'll offer a number of vibrant summer courses in the arts, writing, and STEM to students in grades 8-10.

Our programs are designed for —and with— middle school, high school, and early college students. Every course designed by Mesh Ed culminates in a portfolio project that is digitally archived and shared. Together, our team brings over 250 years of successful work in schools and design organizations.

Elizabeth (Betsey) Hun Schmidt '89, CEO and Founder of Mesh Ed Collective, will be joined by Mya Valentin ‘ 19, research and project management associate at Mesh Ed, and several current Wesleyan Students who have previously interned with Betsey
